Elementary Solutions Limited is a nationwide provider of Computer Forensics, Electronic Discovery, Data Recovery and related services.

Elementary is the only company in New Zealand actively engaged in cutting edge research in those fields.  Our owner and Principal Consultant, Daniel Ayers, is conducting Doctoral research in Computer Forensics.  In an industry where very few Computer Forensic "experts" hold relevant formal qualifications, we are the only provider where all our experts hold such qualifications.

We publish papers in international peer-reviewed academic journals.  We invent and implement new (PATENT PENDING) computer forensic analysis techniques. (NZ Patent Application No 579120).

Elementary is the only computer forensic provider in New Zealand developing its own computer forensic tools.  Unlike our competitors, we are not solely reliant on commercially available analysis software.

In fact, our sister company - Forensic Validation Ltd - is the only company in the world dedicated to independent testing of computer forensic tools.  Even the major computer forensic tools have bugs and flaws, and we are the experts in the reliability of computer forensic analysis results. Wheras our competitors will often blindly rely on computer software as the basis of their "expert" "evidence".
